It used to be that whenever RWBY came out, it would first air on the Rooster Teeth website through their First subscription program. The only other time another studio worked on the property officially was when Shaft produced the canon-adjacent spinoff Ice Queendom. RWBY has been animated and licensed by Rooster Teeth ever since its inception and will continue to be. Also, given the Blacksmith’s dialogue at the end of Volume 9, there will most likely be a time skip in Remnant, where an indeterminate amount of time has passed. The main story will continue: with RWBY and Jaune arriving outside Vacuo. There are some clues about RWBY Volume 10.
